Engagement sessions (creative couple shoots) with Carlita Sari are $2450 standalone or $1950 with a wedding package in Sydney. All shoots include a planning session, to come up with a concept couples are excited about, that feel uniquely them. Many couples add the engagement session to a wedding booking at a reduced rate, to allow them to spend more time with their guests on their wedding day. Most engagement sessions run for two to three hours, which is enough time to relax, move through two or three Sydney locations, and capture a natural mix of candid and creative photos. Shoots with more involved concepts may run longer. Sessions run on weekdays (when there is more access to interesting public spaces) and are often booked for afternoon light and golden hour, a few hours before sunset, for the best light across Sydney.

Support for outfit ideas is given in the planning session. Bold colours photograph beautifully, especially juxtaposed against Sydney's laneways, urban scapes and greenery, while textures and movement (flowing fabrics, layers) add life to the images. Bring anything meaningful, props, pets or a nod to how you met all make the shoot more personal.
